I wanted my new case to have good cooling, be quiet, easy to work on, have good space and look subtle and smart. It is a good case but I think the Define 7XL is a better watercooling case. I was looking at the Lian Li PC-O11 DXL too but I wasnt going for bling and that case has been done to death. I might post my rebuild when I start the hardtube upgrade.įor anyone thats interested the X79 platform with 4960X is still no slouch with a RTX2080Ti - still getting between 150FPS to 300FPS 3840x1600 ultranightmare settings on Doom Eternal and 70FPS in RDR2. Very happy with the case and much easier to work on than poking around in my 19" rack and fussing over quick disconnects whenever I want to change things! The old beast was built for a different time with 2 x 1500W powersupplies and Quad SLI GTX580s.
